GOT QUESTIONS?
Everything you need to know about renting a dumpster from Junk Dump & Destroyers.
What size dumpster do I need?
It depends on your project. We offer 10, 15, 20, and 30 yard dumpsters. A 10-yard is perfect for small cleanouts or single-room projects. A 20-yard handles most whole-house cleanouts. Our 30-yard dumpster is ideal for major renovations and commercial projects. Not sure? Call us and we'll help you pick the right size.
How long can I keep the dumpster?
Every rental includes a 7-day rental period. Need it longer? Just let us know — extensions are available. We're flexible and want to make sure you have enough time to finish your project.
What can I put in the dumpster?
You can put most household junk, construction debris, furniture, appliances, yard waste, and general clutter. We cannot accept hazardous materials like paint, chemicals, batteries, tires, asbestos, or medical waste. If you're unsure about an item, just ask — we'll let you know.
Do I need a permit for a dumpster?
If you're placing the dumpster on your private property (driveway), no permit is needed. If it needs to go on the street, some municipalities require a permit. We can help you figure out what's needed for your specific location in Dearborn Heights or surrounding areas.
How much does dumpster rental cost?
Pricing varies by dumpster size, rental duration, and location. We provide upfront quotes with no hidden fees — the price we quote is the price you pay. Call us at (313) 398-8614 or request a quote online for an exact price based on your project.
Can you deliver the dumpster the same day?
Yes! We offer same-day delivery across our service area. Call early in the day for the best availability. In most cases, we can have a dumpster in your driveway within hours of your call.
What areas do you serve?
We're based in Dearborn Heights and serve the surrounding metro Detroit communities including Dearborn, Westland, Garden City, Livonia, Redford, Inkster, Taylor, Allen Park, Southfield, Canton, and Plymouth. Check our Service Areas page for full details.
What happens to the junk after pickup?
We take disposal seriously. We sort through the debris and recycle materials whenever possible. Items that can be donated or reused are separated out. The rest is disposed of legally and responsibly at licensed facilities.
How do I schedule a pickup?
When you're done filling the dumpster, just give us a call. We'll schedule pickup — usually within 24 hours. You don't need to be home for pickup as long as the dumpster is accessible.
Are you insured?
Yes, we are fully licensed and insured. You're protected throughout the entire process. Our team is professional and experienced at placing dumpsters without damaging driveways or property.
